The Orizuru Philosophy
Orizuru (折鶴) significa "grulla de papel" en japonés, y es la figura más emblemática del origami. El nombre nació durante un viaje de nuestro fundador, Gerardo Contreras, a Japón. Al conocer de cerca la cultura del origami, descubrió en la grulla de papel una metáfora exacta de lo que debe hacer una consultoría: tomar algo aparentemente simple —una hoja, un dato, un negocio— y, mediante precisión, método y perseverancia, transformarlo en algo capaz de volar.
Orizuru (折鶴) means "paper crane" in Japanese, and it is the most emblematic figure in origami. The name was born during a trip our founder, Gerardo Contreras, took to Japan. Immersed in the culture of origami, he found in the paper crane a precise metaphor for what a consultancy should do: take something seemingly simple — a sheet of paper, a data point, a business — and, through precision, method and perseverance, transform it into something capable of flight.
En el origami no hay atajos: cada pliegue debe hacerse en el orden correcto y con exactitud, porque cada uno prepara al siguiente. Así entendemos nuestro trabajo. In origami there are no shortcuts: every fold must be made in the right order and with exactness, because each one prepares the next. That is how we understand our work. We don't improvise or apply generic recipes: we diagnose, plan and execute fold by fold until your business takes off.
